Paul Maged has a new single and music video called "The Resistance". It's apparently a departure from his original plan to release a third EP in a trilogy that started with "Light Years Away" and "The Glass River".
According to Maged, the third EP was pushed back to 2019 due to the "urgency" of getting this tune out there. The political climate being what it is and all.
Truth be told, I'm about as anti-Trump as you can get so honestly I'm pretty stoked to check this one out.
I'm gonna share my thoughts below as I always do.

It's got a really chunky riff that I dig a lot. Lyrically it's intense with a harsh condemnation of the current administration. My personal favorite lyric being "an unstable genius with an IQ zero". The video is edited well with a potpourri of awful things and quotes that the current chief has accomplished during his time in office. The vitriol displayed in the lyrics, the mesmerizing hard rock riffs and the intense hatred seeping through the vocals almost makes you forget that the song is only ok. It's decent and I'm all-in on the message, but it's not gonna blow your mind.
This one is definitely going to make you feel something. If you're on the right, it might spike your rage meter. If you're on the left, it's going to keep your rage meter right where it is. In the high position. The song is ok but the message is gold in my opinion. An opinion that I'm sad to say might be in the minority.
