I love Denver. As a stand-up comedian, it's one of my all-time favorite places to perform. It's got a cool vibe to it. People are laid back and generally easy to hang with. That said, it wasn't too much of a surprise that I enjoyed kicking back with Meanr Mynr's latest EP "The Sacrifice".
Sorry to spoil the review a bit, but it's true. I really enjoyed it. I'm gonna go into detail now. Join me.

Let me preface by saying that I rarely get too into electronic music. There are exceptions, but they are few and far between. So I might have even come into this EP kinda skeptical about what I'd think of it.
We get started with Sanctified. It's a dope little track. Funky and jazzy, it's electronic music with soul. I can get behind that. Saint James has almost a Jamaican feel to it. This would be excellent beach listening with an adult beverage in your hand. Track three is the title track called The Sacrifice. It's a little more intense with an 8-bit beat that just doesn't quit. This would make amazing video game music. Track four is From the Ashes and it's got a different feel to it. It doesn't stand out, but it's not bad either. Party To Demascus is the final track and it's good a slower vibe to it. Almost like a ballad but not. Solid ending to a pretty great little album.
This is a really strong EP from a really talented artist. You're going to listen to this a lot. I give it a strong recommendation.
